Richard Clarke is our senior masseur, he has 15 years quality experience and has had scientific research on Sports Massage published in The British Journal of Sports Medicine and The International Journal of Sports Medicine.
Richard has an honours degree in sport and exercise science and has multiple massage and treatment related qualifications, at 6ft 3inches tall with big strong hands Richards massage skills are second to none. Knowing when to used deep techniques and when not to is where Richard excels.
Over the years Richard has been fortunate to treat world champion boxers, national, commonwealth and olympic swimmers, Richard also provided pitchside support for many seasons with professional rugby and soccer Teams. He has helped the taekwondo world champion, national soccer squads (U18girls and age groups) as well as providing treatment at many sporting events.
Having successfully treated professional athletes from most sports, worked for professional clubs and teams Richard is able to deal with a variety of soft tissue problems and knows when to referr a problem onto another professional. His clients range from young swimmers aged 12 to World Championship Ironmen Qualifiers and Team GB Triathletes to people in their 70's who have just stiffened up.
We are also fortunate to have James Prosser with us who as well as being a sports scientist is at level 4 with The Sports Massage Association (SMA). James has been working as a masseur for 6 years and has built up a wealth of experience, working closely with a physiotherapist for the last two years James has excellent treatment results. His clients include Ospreys Players, Hospital referrals and sports men and women from a variety of sports.
More recently we have aquired the skills of Jamie Pugh, new to the industry he certainly has made an impact on me and now does my back massage. Great bloke and an awesome deep massure, and very into running. (Limited availability)

We offer a - no treatment - no charge policy, so if you are not sure if we can help, give us a call for a chat and we will let you know if it sounds like a soft tissue problem. If we can not treat your problem we will refer you to our physiotherapist.
